Corrupted Souls

A table with books of poetry for sale.

Corrupted souls,

Mourning for one another.

I couldn't capture the moonlight it stood,

I left it alone.

I felt the cold air upon lonely faces,

Another moment gone by.

It froze me here.

The corruption it nears.

I am cleansing my soak drenched clothes,

The blood has engulfed my dirty wounds.

I am left for dead.

Where am I going to?

The world phases me in circles.

I am twisting in it,

A jagged pill.

My memory is getting foggier,

I am leaving my life.

It's becoming shady,

Within corruped souls.
