Dreamers Silent

A table with books of poetry for sale.

Dreamers Silent

The winter's rain

Coming down like a storm

Washing pieces of me away.

Living proof

Knowing I'm not well

Seeking the truth of what happened

Still I feel so alone and cold.

My knees

They crumble in the distance

I falter to know I may not rise

I have fallen and I may not stand again.

Still here

My hands quiver in pain

I seek but a soul to comfort me

For my knees cannot hold me no more.

I forget

Who am I and why this place?

My dreams are silent in my presence

Leaving me alone with Dreamer's Silent.
