Getta Grip

A table with books of poetry for sale.

Get a grip on life and know the surpassing days

When life can trouble you and get you down.

It is not a moment you need at this very time,

It is at the very fragrant sky when you breathe.

The enchantment of life shall embrace ones lips,

It will withstand the hands of time.

A precious heart can melt in the far away distance,

A hope that guides painted wounds.

Did the life of a breathtaking painting bleed?

Did it stop the paint brushes from weeping?

Did it whisper in the distant sun and sky?

Did it call you home? Did it love?

If words are the answer and this finds you with hope,

Don't let the days weep with sadness.

Let the sky touch the moon and the sun touch the stars

It's at this very moment I think of thee.
