If There Was A Girl

A table with books of poetry for sale.

If there was a girl named Traci I know you'd have her by now,

If she were only real.

She would give all she could,

She would cut you in a deal.

But don't stop on your little charade,

Because she's not gonna play your little game.

She's only one of a kind,

She won't give you Hollywood or any other kind of fame.

If there was a girl named Sue would she give you a time,

To find out your true hearts desire.

Will she make you happy just the way she is,

By the time you find out she'll have to retire.

But don't stop on your little charade,

Because she's feeling her way around.

She's only one of a kind,

She won't be looking for you in the lost and found.

If there was a girl named Candy would she be sweet,

Would you find your love hidden in the deep.

Will she give you all that you crave,

By the time you awake she'll be asleep.

But don't stop on your little charade,

Because she's seeing some other guy.

She's only one of a kind,

She won't be counting on you for she'll be sayin bye bye.

If there was a girl named Donna would she sing you a tune,

I doubt it very much because she would hate you.

Will she find that you have loved so many before her,

By the time she gets to fall in love she'll fall apart its true.

But don't stop on your little charade,

Because she's not looking for an Oh Donna song.

She's only one of a kind,

She won't be searching for a guy whose a loner all along!

So if you had a chance with a different type of girl each week,

Do you think she will give you a chance of romance?

Will they know that you have broken hearts before,

By the time they had their first kiss or their last dance?

But don't stop on your little charade,

Because they aren't looking for someone like you.

They have others in mind,

You lost your chance and it sucks being the guy without a clue!
