I'll Think Of Your Love Forevermore Dear Tree

A table with books of poetry for sale.

Shelter me kind tree and love me forevermore,

For my love has left me once again out my door.

I've been holding onto thee my fair whispering moonlit glow,

I've left my hand into your bark and holding for hope by poetic flow.

Give me a warm embrace where I can come to you,

For I've lost my true love and I don't know what to do.

I've cried my sadness into you because I know not of anyone,

For your nurturing branches give me hope a distance I have run.

So give me breath of a smile from all my falling tears,

Of a deadly past I've come from in all of my years.

I'm missing my home and I don't know where I must go,

Point me to the direction where I will never be alone please show.

I'll go where you lead me because for you are my tree of hope so true,

I want to start all over without tears and I want to start out new.

But don't you worry my dear tree for you have been here for me all along,

A dream of you will come again when I sing of you in a song.

I'll think of you forevermore dear tree!
