Looking Out The Window

A table with books of poetry for sale.

Waiting for the days gone by,

Waiting for my days to die

I will wait patiently still,

Up until the moment shall fill.

Left my window open for HIM

I let HIM in my heart,

I need the Lord within me now

Never Torn apart.

The days went by I felt nothing

Not even a sound,

I looked up and down.

I even looked across the town.

He came into me this night

Thought it was a great feeling inside,

He wiggled and giggled

Giving me this peace of mind.

Lord, how I prayed for you

Oh How I prayed for you,

You gave me song and voice

You made my gray skies blue. (its true)

I left my window open for Him

and He let me smile again.

I knew he was near

I knew he was here, my bestest friend!
