Sand In Your Face

A table with books of poetry for sale.

Sand in your face must have made you feel loved,

It was all I could give since I couldn't talk.

I tried to mumble words but nothing came out,

I ranted and raved even during my walk.

I tried so hard to be something its so very true,

I wanted to be a person like anyone.

But I couldn't get the words out by my mouth,

Instead those people decided to make up their own fun.

Sand in your face is what I believe today,

That's what you all did deserve its true.

The waves of mounds that scooped in that bucket,

I am a person who didn't have a voice to acknowledge true.

I tried to tell people that my voice was there,

But epileptic seizures prevented them from all.

I couldn't provide you much but temper tantrums,

So Sand in your bucket is my gift to you all when I was small.
